  1. We’re very excited to announce that the Mopinion website (previously only in English) is now available in four new languages: French, German, Spanish and Dutch. The addition of these new languages reflects the increasing demand for digital feedback solutions abroad as well as Mopinion’s rapidly growing customer base.

  2. So you’ve successfully made a sale by converting a lead into a customer. Both you and the customer are happy. But, suddenly this customer decides to cancel the subscription and stop using your product after only a couple weeks. What happened? Where did things go wrong?

This is a common problem many online businesses encounter. Customer retention is just as important as generating leads and sale. Especially for SaaS businesses that sell subscription-based services and products.

  3. As a business owner, you're always trying to give your customers the best experience. You can't be perfect at pleasing everyone all the time, though - each customer comes to you with different expectations, and it's impossible to predict what all those expectations might be. What you can do, however, is learn how to handle feedback in a graceful way, so that you can turn any negative customer experiences into a positive. Here are five ways to do just that:

  4. Self-service for the sake of self-service just isn’t enough. There, I said it. Etch it in stone. Tell a friend. Because the truth is, your self-service experience probably isn’t as good as it could be. And hidden sticking points could be leaving customers dissatisfied, frustrated, and hampering your aspirations for blockbusting, show-stopping ticket deflection.

  5. Potential customers often mistake Synup for a full service marketing agency. It isn't — its product focusses solely on managing the local marketing and reputation of businesses. It doesn’t take care of, for example, content marketing.

Another concept some customers don’t get is that Synup works on a subscription-based model, Synup's CEO Ashwin Ramesh said. Customers have told the firm they want to pay a one-time-fee rather than subscribing to the product.

  6. Like an imminent hanging, the looming execution of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) has concentrated business leaders’ minds on their customer data. This has been a boon for Customer Data Platform vendors, who have been able to offer their systems as solutions to many GDPR requirements. But it raises some issues as well.

  7. But what is the downside of designers working exclusively on different things? Without formal design collaboration, such as multiple designers assigned to a project, we can become shortsighted if we don’t go out of our way to seek helpful feedback that propels our work forward. Especially for those of us in smaller offices, it can be isolating without many people to bounce ideas off of or make suggestions when we get stuck.

  9. Factors such as pricing, useful functionalities (which meet your goals) and user experience are all important and should always be taken into account when choosing a customer feedback software.

So whether it’s an additional feature you don’t want to pay for or you’re just looking for something they don’t offer, there are always alternatives to choose from. Here are 10 alternatives to Medallia for Digital, if not better in some respects…

  10. The point is that each customer journey is its own unique story. From the supermarkets point of view when they look at the sales at the end of the day they will see my transaction amongst the thousands of others but they won’t know my story. Even if I got a prompt on my receipt to fill out a survey to enter a prize draw and I went and gave them an NPS rating, would they know any more about my customer story?
